- Heihei Waʻa Kaukahi (1-Man) and Waʻa ʻEono (6-Man) races for men, women, and mixed crews.
- Short and long courses to challenge paddlers of all levels.
- Celebrate the culture of the waʻa (canoe) with lively races and camaraderie on the ʻāina (land).
The day begins with a Pule Hoʻomaka (Opening Ceremony), honoring the Hawaiian traditions of the waʻa and blessing the waters for the races ahead.
Experience the thrill of racing the ama (outrigger float) against the water’s resistance, feeling the smooth glide of the manu ihu (canoe’s bow), and syncing your strokes with your crew.
CWC-ACBS members are welcome to join in on the fun and festivities. Additional information will follow regarding potential roles for safety boats or captains.
Visitors are encouraged to cheer for their favorite teams and soak in the Hawaiian spirit with food, music, and activities.
Hosted by CROCC and supported by the CWC club, we welcome you to a day of tradition, competition, and aloha.
